Hines has been a leading innovator in balancing since the early 80's when it engineered the HC-5/2S armature balancing machine. This dynamic balancing machine enables the operator to do twice as many parts per hour as with a single station balancing machine. The first station will take the part up to speed and stop the armature indexed for the first correction. While the operator makes the correction, the second station is measuring unbalance on the next part.
Hines also offers optional correction methods for manual, on-machine correction including contour mill, V-cut mill, and epoxy weight addition systems.
Hines also offers armature audit machines. Shown below is four machines with one base used for auditing armatures.
