Coupling balancers are based on the Hines Vertical Rotating Balancing Machine. For more information about this piece of balancing equipment click here.
Hines offers manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic balancing machines for couplings.
Shown is a recently built manual balancing machine specifically designed for couplings. The Hines Industries Model HVR-200 balancing machine is a computer based, static single plane, manual load, single station, balancing machine. The balance mechanism uses a rugged Hard suspension, Vertical axis, Rotating (HVR) spindle to support the weight of the workpiece and tooling.
For customers looking for automation, Hines offers semi-automatic solutions. The Hines HVR-100/SA is a single station, semi-automatic, balancing machine configured and tooled for balancing couplings.
Features include:
- Single Plane, 100 lb. capacity with hard suspension
- Transfer: Manual load and unload of workpiece
- Correction: Vertical drill with automatic drill return
- Automatic guard door. (open and close)
- Precise correction information in one spin
- Powerful motor to spin and stop parts quickly
- Touch screen and intuitive menu displays
- Part parameters may be stored and later recalled
- Operator confidence with repeatable part balancing
These machines are just two examples of the many configurations and weight ranges available.
