Summary
Established and growing, machine design and manufacturing business, located in Ann Arbor, MI is searching for a field service technician interested in traveling to customer sites to install, train, and troubleshoot equipment. Machines have a PC computer user interface, PLCs, machine tool equipment, and occasionally robotics and conveyors. Travel averages 75% throughout the year. Strong troubleshooting and customer relationship skills are required.
Responsibilities
- Installing new equipment and training customers
- Troubleshooting equipment
- Responding to customer maintenance calls
- Handling customer issues and making sure the customer is 100% satisfied before you leave the site
- Logging the results of customer visits in CRM system for future follow-up by anyone in the group and for reporting purposes.
- Escalating issues to the proper level if assistance is required to resolve the problem.
- Other responsibilities will include machine assembly for the Production Department and balancing parts in the Balancing Service Department depending on the needs of the business.

Experience and Education
- 2-10+ years experience (compensation based on years of experience)
- High School Diploma or GED, required
- Technical associates degree, desired
