Hines has engineered and manufactured balancing machines specifically designed to balance squirrel cage blowers, blower rotors, blower wheels, turbine type blowers, rotary vane blowers, lobe blowers and centrifugal blowers since 1979.
Balancing Equipment
- Features: Single plane and two plane balancing
- Transfer: Manual load to fully automated
- Correction: Add or remove weight
An example of a Hines HO-20 (shown to the right) is a single station manual balancing machine configured and tooled for balancing plastic squirrel cage blower wheels weighing up to 20 lbs. The shroud reduces windage to enable a closer tolerance to be achieved and improves operator safety by preventing contact with the rotating part.
Below is a Hines Industries Model HC-500 balancing machine is a dynamic (two plane), manual load, single station, balancing machine configured for blower rotors. The machine spins the part and displays unbalance on both ends. The operator drills desired number of holes as calculated on the computer to obtain the balance tolerance on both ends. To avoid operator fatigue, we have included an extra monitor to make drilling more user friendly.
These machine are just a few examples of the many configurations and weight ranges available. Contact Hines to find the best balancing solution to fit your blower needs.
